Emergent Generation

A diverse network of young people working together to build an
agroecological food system and regenerative future
By enabling, encouraging, and empowering young members of our rural and urban communities, we can build a sustainable food system that nourishes people and planet.
To be truly sustainable, we must be bold and change, at pace. But, a deep and meaningful transition cannot stop at the farm gate - we must work through the entire value chain.
We believe we must move to a diverse, regenerative, and agroecological system.
A diverse network of young practitioners and thinkers are needed to spearhead this transition and thus the Emergent Generation’s audience is wide and inclusive. Our membership includes young farmers, growers, researchers, advisers, students, career changers and foodies, and folk from across the sustainability, supply chain and policy world.  All are welcome.

Emergent Generation works to foster new connections, nurture conversations, share knowledge, promote opportunities, build confidence, and enact change. We help show our members that they are not alone and that together we can turn passion for change into action. We have fun too!
'I felt lost and isolated before the event, now I am energised and uplifted to know so many
people and opportunities are out there.' - Jake, 25

We are a new and aspiring UK-based not-for-profit with friends across Europe.
If you are passionate about people and planet and are aged between 18 and 35, then Emergent Generation is for you.
