Growing The Network From The Bottom Up
We grew Emergent Generation from the bottom up. It started with an idea and a passion for change, leading to a codesign workshop with our first young network members and our inaugural events supported and led by partners and volunteers.
As we mature into a Community Interest Company we are formalising our governance. We are currently recruiting Executive Directors to run the day to day, and a diverse mix of Non Executive Directors to be our critical friends. We also have a wonderful team of young coordinators - delivering events and overseeing what we do.
All our signed up members are encouraged to get involved, have their say and to steer our work. Further outreach and audience engagement is planned for the future. We love being a bottom up and inclusive organisation, doing things a little differently.
